I posted photos of my unique frog doorstop on Pinterest in 2017 and now, suddenly, he's a little bit famous! 🤣
Delight your friends, family and coworkers with this hilarious, unique frog door stop. This little splat frog will have you giggling as you’re making it.
No one will forget this little guy once they've seen him. With such a cheerful face and round belly, it’s hard not to smile when you see him tucked under your door.
Let him hang out with you in your office, or workspace. Leave him lying around your house ready to surprise and delight everyone who bumps into him.
This is a fun project for school crochet clubs and crochet groups. Try making the squashed frog in different colours and yarn sizes. Putting the squashed frog together will have the whole group giggling.
I encourage you to make this project using Eco friendly inserts for the body.
A heavy ball from sustainable recycled materials is much more effective and cheaper than fibrefill. I have used lawn bowls balls, bocce balls and exercise balls I bought for $1-$2 each at my local recycle store. They also give the body a smoother finish.
If you don’t know how to crochet, find someone who can and beg them to make one for you. It’s a pretty fast project with a straightforward pattern.
Why not make this unique, one-of-a-kind, stand out, funny yet useful gift for Father's day, Birthday, April Fool's Day, Christmas, gifts for bride or groom, geek gift, kids birthday, everyone.
